Japanese automobile manufacturer Mazda has announced that the latest version of its popular supermini the Mazda2 will go on sale on the first of September. Named the Mazda2 Sport Black, it offers sporty styling enhancements and extra equipment as standard.

Available in two paint choices  Soul metallic red or Snowflake white pearlescent, the Mazda2 Sport Black has received style enhancements that build on the stylish KODO: Soul of Motion lines of the all-new Mazda2. Contrasting detail features in the form of brilliant black front and side skirts, roof spoiler and a chrome exhaust trim.

Extra customisation options are available for buyers who want a more individual look. Two exterior decal designs and contrasting wing mirror covers can be added to the hot hatch, which boasts 16" Gunmetal alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, auto lights, rain-sensing wipers and rear parking sensors as standard

Powered by a 1.5-litre normally-aspirated 90ps SKYACTIV-G petrol engine, the all-new Mazda Sport Black special edition will cost from £15,395 on-the-road.
