Nissan delivers n-tec trim to compact family car

Following the launch of the n-tec trim on Nissan's X-Trail, Qashqai and Pulsar, the Japanese carmaker has introduced the trim to the British-built Note.

The Note n-tec sits between the range-topping Tekna and mid-grade Acenta Premium. It features a number of technological, safety and design upgrades, while still delivering customer value.

The n-tec trim gives Note owners an enhanced styling package including new 16-inch alloy wheels, satin silver door handles and wing mirror covers. It also comes with the choice of eight paint colours, including a new metallic Ink Blue finish exclusive to n-tec.

The new Note n-tec also benefits from black bezel headlamps, a carbon-look rear bumper, unique blue stitching on the leather steering wheel and rear privacy glass. It's available with a 1.2-litre 79bhp petrol engine, which emits 109g/km and has a combined fuel consumption figure of 60.1mpg.

The new n-tec Note also comes with new NissanConnect  a 5.8-inch touchscreen satellite navigation system - DAB radio and a Rear View Camera. It also gets Nissan's Safety Shield as standard  a suite of technologies including Blind Spot Warning, Moving Object Detection and Lane Departure Warning  previously only available on Tenka models.
