Insurance groups inform the price you pay for your cover. There are different types, with each determined by new car value, estimated repair costs, vehicle performance, safety features, and more.
CO2 emissions are measured before a car goes on sale, using a number of tests. Units are recorded in g/km (grams per kilometre). Vehicles that produce lower emissions pay lower road tax.
Mpg stands for miles per gallon, and is used to show how far your car is able to travel for every gallon (or 4.55 litres) of fuel it uses. The combined WLTP fuel economy figure provides a general overview of a car's fuel consumption over a variety of speeds and road types.
