The Electric Vehicle Approved Scheme

If you're looking to go electric or hybrid for your next vehicle, an exciting journey awaits - it really is a great time to make the switch!

At Macklin Motors, we understand that to have confidence in your decision you'll want to speak to experts along the way. We are currently working to gain accreditation from the Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) Scheme at each one of our dealerships. That means when you visit a Macklin Motors site, you can rest assured that you're in expert hands.

What is the EVA Scheme?

The EVA Scheme is a set of standards that encompasses all areas of automotive retail, including sales and servicing. It verifies a dealership's level of excellence in the electric vehicle sector.

The Scheme was introduced by the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) alongside the Government's Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) and the Energy Saving Trust (EST).

To achieve accreditation from the EVA Scheme a business must pass a number of strict, independent assessments to determine that it meets the required standards.

With so many things to consider and a whole load of acronyms and terminology to make sense of, we understand that things can feel a little confusing when you first start your EV journey. When you visit an EVA Scheme accredited dealership, you can trust that all members of staff will have completed EV training specific to their role - meaning if you have any questions, you'll be sure to get the answers you need.

Which Macklin Motors Dealerships are EVA Scheme Compliant?

We are determined to achieve accreditation from the EVA Scheme at each of our Macklin Motors dealerships. The following sites have already received approval:
