What is a Priority Service Plan?

Macklin Motors Priority Service Plan covers the cost of servicing, servicing parts, labour, and VAT for the next three years with interest-free, manageable monthly payments. You can also include MOT in your plan, so all car maintenance costs are taken care of.

You will benefit from up to 25% savings in comparison to one-off service rates when you join the plan, with courtesy cars available for when your car is in the workshop. Regular servicing provides you with a full-service history, helping to maintain your warranty cover and retaining the value of your car if you choose to sell it.

At Macklin Motors, we have two types of Priority Service Plan to choose from depending on whether your car is still under warranty or not:

Interim Service

Basic servicing

A basic service plan is the ideal option for you if your car is outside of the warranty period. While it doesn't follow specific guidelines set out by the manufacturer, it still includes changing oil and filter, topping up levels and a full visual health check. This helps to keep your car in top working condition, at a cost-effective price.

Full Service

Full manufacturer's servicing

A full manufacturer's service is tailored to your car's mileage and age, following manufacturer servicing guidelines and recommended maintenance schedule. This gives you complete peace of mind, offering the most comprehensive level of servicing. Depending on what the manufacturer has set out in their guidelines, checks on item and part replacements may vary with each service.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to pay anything upfront when I join Priority Service Plan?

Your first payment will be taken 30 days after joining Priority Service Plan and you won't be asked to pay anything upfront unless your car service is due.

To benefit from a further discount, you can also pay one lump sum if you prefer.

Does Priority Service Plan offer me a discount?

When you join Priority Service Plan, you can benefit from up to 25% savings compared to one-off service rates.

Will the cost of my service plan increase during the three years?

There's no need to worry about unexpected price increases, the price of your Priority Service Plan is fixed for the full duration of your plan.

Can I get a courtesy car if my car is in the workshop?

At Macklin Motors, all customers can take advantage of complimentary courtesy cars* whenever your vehicle is in one of our workshops. Booking is quick and easy - simply book online or over the phone, but we do ask that you book in advance.

*Subject to availability and insurance administration fee

To book a courtesy car, you must:

  • Be between the ages of 21 - 85
  • Have held a license for a minimum of one year
  • Have no more than 9 points in the last three years
  • Have no disqualifications in the last five years

If you are under 21, you must have held your license for a minimum of one year and have no points.

What happens to my service plan if I change my car?

If you do decide to change your car, you have the option to transfer your Priority Service Plan to another vehicle at any time. Simply get in touch with our aftercare team, and they will be happy to transfer any remaining funds.

Do I have the option to cancel my Priority Service Plan?

As sorry as we would be to see you go, we understand personal circumstances can change. You aren't tied into any contracts when you sign up for Priority Service Plan and can choose to cancel at any time. Get in contact with our aftercare team and they will be able to take care of the rest.

Are wear and tear items covered by Priority Service Plan?

Priority Service Plan doesn't cover the cost of wear and tear items.
