It’s Powerful and Efficient

The latest Sorento is now available with a new, advanced self-charging hybrid powertrain that offers outstanding performance with low emissions and excellent fuel economy.

The new Sorento combines a turbocharged 1.6-litre T-GDi petrol engine with a 44.2kW electric motor and a 1.49kWh battery pack – making an impressive power output of 226bhp. And, unlike many other hybrids, the all-new Sorento can tow a braked trailer of up to 1,650kg!

Kia UK have also launched a new 2.2-litre CRDi diesel engine, which can reach 60mph in just 9.1 seconds – thanks to its 199bhp – and achieves 42.2mpg on the combined WLTP economy cycle.

A plug-in hybrid variant is set to arrive in 2021 offering further tax savings and lower running costs.

It’s Impressively Refined and Remarkably Comfortable

As soon as you climb aboard the new Kia Sorento, you’ll discover how quiet and peaceful it is.

The latest Sorento’s shape has been designed to eliminate wind noise, meanwhile, a stiffer body and liberal use of sound absorbing materials make it whisper quiet on the inside – perfect after a busy day’s schedule.

The Sorento’s calm interior is also ideal for any hands-free calls you need to make on the road.

Every new Sorento comes with heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, yet, when things start getting a little warm, the ventilated seats can keep things cool too.

The all-new Kia Sorento is all about making you and your passengers as comfortable as possible, so that every journey is a pleasurable driving experience.

It Comes With Convenient Technology

To further ensure driving is easy and relaxing, the all-new Sorento is bursting with intelligent technology and assistance systems.

Long journeys are effortless thanks to Highway Driving Assist (HDA), which controls the Sorento’s steering, acceleration and braking to maintain the speed you set while keeping a safe distance from the vehicle in front.

Every Sorento also comes with a new 12.3-inch high-resolution digital instrument cluster, which delivers a wealth of useful information on a crystal-clear display.

Some of the new Sorento grades include the useful UVO Connect telematics system as standard, which gives the driver live traffic information, local petrol station prices, parking costs and availability.

So that you can always keep in touch in the new Sorento, there’s a wireless phone charger as well as USB charge point ports for all three rows. The car comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity as standard.

Also available is a head-up display that projects vital information – such as speed and navigation instructions – onto the base of the windscreen in the driver’s line of sight. This means you can continuously keep your eyes on the road.

It Keeps You Safe

Every new Kia Sorento comes with a huge suite of advanced safety features to help protect you and your family.

For example, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA) with city, pedestrian, cyclist and junction detection, uses the front camera and radar to detect upcoming hazards, and will apply the brakes if necessary.

If you upgrade your Sorento, it’ll also offer Blind-spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA), which helps avoid collisions when changing lanes. The new Kia Sorento can also provide a Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM), which displays a high-resolution video feed in the driver’s instrument cluster.

Depending on the grade you choose, your Sorento can also come with a Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist (PCA) system that helps prevent collisions with pedestrians or other obstacles when entering or leaving a parking spot.

To help keep your speed in check, Sorento owners are now able to activate the Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA), which uses a camera to read speed limit signs, and displays them beside the speedometer and on the navigation screen.

Driver Attention Warning (DAW) tracks how focused you are while driving and will recommend taking a break if your driving drops below a certain standard.

In addition, Multi-Collision Brake Assist (MCBA) is a new innovation the new Sorento hosts. If the airbags activate because of a collision, the car automatically applies the brakes to help avoid a subsequent collision.

‘Ecall’ is also a new feature, which automatically rings the emergency services in the event of an accident.

From innovative safety features to intelligent assistance technology, the all-new Kia Sorento was designed and engineered to look after you and your family.
