As the summer transfer window draws to a close, we’ve collated a list of the newest arrivals to Tynecastle Park.

Lawrence Shankland

The 26-year-old striker has returned to Scottish football, joining Hearts on a three-year deal from Belgian side Beerschot. A renowned goalscorer, the move is somewhat of a homecoming for Shankland as he spent the start of his career in the Hearts Football Academy.

Alan Forrest

Scottish midfielder Forrest joined the Jambos this summer following the expiration of his contract at Livingston. Manager Robbie Neilson has had him on his radar for a while, stating "He's quick, direct, and will offer a real threat going forward.”

Lewis Neilson

Highly rated 19-year-old defender Lewis Neilson joined Hearts in July on a three-year deal. At an imposing six foot three inches tall, he is able to play at right-back and central defence, and also has midfield playing experience which makes him a versatile option.

Kye Rowles

Australian international Kye Rowles made the move to Scotland from A-League side Central Coast this summer. The 24-year-old defender says he has come to Edinburgh to challenge himself and improve his game, signing a three-year deal.

Alex Cochrane

Left-back Alex Cochrane, 21, sealed a permanent return to the Jambos this summer following a successful loan spell last season from Premier League side Brighton. Hearts beat off English Championship competition to land the player on a three-year contract.

Jorge Grant

Jorge Grant completed his move to Tynecastle in July from EFL League Two Side Peterborough. The attacking midfielder will bring a wealth of experience and dynamism to the Hearts squad.

Connor Smith

Attacking midfielder Connor Smith has penned a one-year contract at Hearts following a loan spell at Scottish Championship side Queens Park FC last season. The 20-year-old Scot had a productive season with the Spiders, helping them to gain promotion.
