Macklin Motors Edinburgh Hyundai East is sending a family on a summer holiday after they won a competition at the dealership.

Grant Crawford and his wife Debbie were entered into a prize draw and won a holiday voucher after purchasing a Hyundai Tucson and a Hyundai i10 Premium in the dealership’s ‘First Class’ event.

As part of the promotion, which ran across eight Hyundai retailers in the UK, customers were invited to take advantage of 18-plate deals on offer. If they booked an appointment as a result, they were entered into a prize draw to win a £3000 TUI holiday voucher.

Grant and Debbie are hoping to use the voucher to treat their three year-old son and parents to a beach-based holiday in the summer. The family have been customers of the Edinburgh East dealership for a number of years.

Chris Thomson, general manager at Macklin Motors Edinburgh East Hyundai said: “It’s been great fun running the competition in the dealership.

“Grant and Debbie are friends of the dealership and I am delighted that they are the winners of the holiday voucher. I hope that they enjoy their holiday, wherever they decide to go, and enjoy a well-deserved break in the summer.”

Debbie Crawford added: “I was shocked and a bit overwhelmed when I received the call to say that my car had been named as the winner of the £3000 holiday voucher. You hear about people winning competitions but I have never won anything on a similar scale before. I am looking forward to deciding where we will go and it will be nice to treat my parents to a holiday.

“Chris and the team have created a family-feel at the dealership and whenever we have been on the lookout for a new car, they have made us feel truly welcome.”
