Macklin Motors Nissan Glasgow opens for business
Macklin Motors Nissan Glasgow, part of Vertu Motors plc, has opened its doors to customers following an investment of more than £5million.
A year-long construction project saw the Port Dundas Road dealership’s eight-storey glass tower rise from the ashes of the former DC Thomson print works, which was demolished to make way for the unique site.
In addition to its remarkable glass tower, the multi-storey car dealership also features a lower level used car sales and service centre, with a stunning new car sales environment on the first floor.
Experienced general manager, Robert Auld will take the helm at the flagship dealership. Having spent more than half of his life in the motor retail industry, Robert joined Macklin Motors Nissan in 2014.
The brand new dealership complements Macklin Motors’ network of dealerships across Scotland, including its other Nissan site in Darnley.
