Kwikfit British Touring Car Championship Knockhill Racing Circuit
This ticket giveaway is provided by Vertu Motors plc, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 05984855) whose registered office is at Vertu House, Fifth Avenue Business Park, Team Valley, Gateshead, NE11 0XA (Vertu). Participants agree to these terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions) and any information or guidance published by Vertu form part of these Terms and Conditions.
1) TICKETS: 199 pairs of general admission tickets to the Kwikfit British Touring Car Championship (Championship) at Knockhill Racing Circuit, Dunfermline, Fife, KY12 9TF (Venue) on Sunday 13 August 2023.
There is no cash alternative and the tickets cannot be exchanged for any other prize. The tickets are subject to the terms and conditions of entry to the Venue. This ticket giveaway does not include any associated costs or expenses (e.g., travel costs, food, drinks, fuel or any additional costs) other than the tickets and parking at the Venue (which is free with the tickets).
2) ELIGIBILITY: This ticket giveaway is open to any person resident in the UK who is over the age of 18. Employees of Vertu or its affiliates, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners).
3) TIMING: This ticket giveaway runs until 18:00 on Monday 7 August 2023 (Giveaway Deadline).
4) ENTRY: To enter you must complete and submit the “Register your interest” form embedded in the promotional email sent to you by Vertu relating to this ticket giveaway, before the Giveaway Deadline.
Each person may only enter once and must only enter on their own behalf. There is a maximum of one (1) pair of tickets per entrant. A ticket may be used by a person under 18, but that person must be accompanied by an adult.
Entries will be ineligible if they are incomplete, are found to be part of an attempt to enter multiple times, violate the rights of any other person or entity or are received after the Giveaway Deadline. No purchase is necessary to enter the ticket giveaway. Entry constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions which may be updated from time to time.
Vertu is not responsible for any failure or inability to enter. Vertu reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who it considers (at its absolute discretion) has violated these Terms and Conditions.
5) SELECTION OF WINNERS: the pairs of tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis from all entrants who have entered the ticket giveaway and met the entry requirements before the Giveaway Deadline.
6) NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: The winners will be sent their tickets via email in advance of the race weekend. The tickets will be emailed to the winners by the Venue, not by Vertu. A winner may be asked to provide identification and any other documents as may be necessary to prove their eligibility before they are entitled to receive the tickets.
7) USE OF YOUR ENTRY: Each winner consents to his/her personal data being provided to the Venue. Each winner’s personal data will not be retained or used by the Venue for any purpose other than distributing the tickets.
Any personal data you provide when you enter may be used for future Vertu and any affiliated company’s marketing activities only if you indicate your consent to such activity. Otherwise, this personal data will be used by Vertu and agents acting on its behalf only for the operation of, and in connection with, this ticket giveaway.
8) OTHER: No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this ticket giveaway or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, Vertu’s decision shall be final. Vertu reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this ticket giveaway at any time and for any reason, without notice.
Participants in this ticket giveaway agree that Vertu will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, costs, damage, disappointment or losses of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, misuse or use of the tickets, or from participation in this ticket giveaway. Nothing in this clause shall limit Vertu’s liability in respect of death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence or liability arising out of Vertu’s fraud.
This ticket giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the Venue, Kwikfit or the Championship.
9) SPIRIT OF THE TICKET GIVEAWAY: If an entrant attempts to compromise the integrity or the legitimate operation of this ticket giveaway by cheating or committing fraud in ANY way, Vertu may seek damages from that entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, Vertu will disqualify that entrant’s entry to this ticket giveaway and may ban the entrant from participating in any future giveaways/promotions/competitions run by Vertu or any of its affiliates, so please enter fairly.
10) LAW AND JURISDICTION: This ticket giveaway and these Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The winner irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
