Owners of Peugeot models are very impressed with the brand, results of the latest Auto Express Driver Power show.

Published recently, the report sees Peugeot race up the rankings taking fifth place overall in aftersales service. For sales, the French brand has also gained on last year's results, moving from 14th place to eighth this year.

The Auto Express Driver Power survey questioned 60,988 UK motorists owning both new and old cars. 56% of participants were recorded as having cars that are less than three years old.

The results show that not only were Peugeot owners happy with their dealerships, but with their cars and the overall ownership experience as well. Companies use their Net Promoter Score (NPS) ranking to gauge the loyalty of customers to the brand. Any NPS ranking higher than 50 is viewed as 'excellent'. Peugeot's average ranking is more than 70 per cent, with the rating being particularly high on the 108, 2008, current 308 and RCZ models.

Eighty-five per cent of Peugeot owners queried claimed that they wouldn't rule out buying another car from the brand, whilst more than a quarter of owners stated that they didn't think their car could be bettered.

As a manufacturer, PEUGEOT finished in 10th position overall out of 32 brands, with their reliability being the most cited reason. For reliability, they finished in ninth position, ahead of brands that are known for their dependability.
