Vauxhall Remains The Best-Selling Electric Van Manufacturer in the UK
Vauxhall offers one of the largest range of electrified vans, resulting in high market share.
The British manufacturer’s vans are the most-sold electric Light Commercial Vehicles (e-LCV) in the UK, for a consecutive year. The latest figures announced by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) show that Vauxhall currently has a 25.6% market share.
Vauxhall’s success is due to offering fully electrified models across the range. The line-up is especially appealing to businesses which require an electric van for individual needs. Vauxhall is one of the only manufacturers that provide electrified versions of all their vans.
The Vivaro Electric and Combo Electric were the most sold and second-best selling e-LCVs in the UK in February 2023. An impressive total of 264 Vivaro Electric models were registered last month. Plus, the Vauxhall Combo Electric model saw 115 registrations alone in February.
The manufacturer has announced that it will produce only fully electric vehicles from 2028.

Vauxhall Vivaro Electric
The Vivaro Electric has been named as ‘Medium Van of the Year’ at the yearly What Van? 2022 Awards. It also scored the title of ‘Best Medium Electric Van’ at last year’s Driving Electric Awards. The van’s success has been extended with the ‘International Van of the Year 2021’ title.

Vauxhall Combo Electric
Vauxhall’s Combo Electric was named the ‘Best Small Electric Van’ at the 2022 Driving Electric Awards. This practical e-LCV is available with up to seven seats and has three different chassis configurations.
Drive up to 175 miles with zero emissions (WLTP) with the 50kWh battery. You can charge the van up to 80% in just 30 minutes with a rapid 100kW public charger.
Optimise your driving experience with the Drive Mode Selector, providing better handling. You can maximise range and efficiency with the ECO mode. If you have a heavy load, turn on POWER mode for improved performance.
With the Combo Electric model, you can access the restricted emissions-free zones in cities. Fully electric vehicles help save you money on fuel prices and vehicle taxes. You can also benefit from the government grant, which pays 35% towards the purchase price.
