Macklin Motors And Hearts Drive Forward Partnership
Macklin Motors and Heart of Midlothian Football Club have extended their partnership for 2023/24 as the Club celebrates its 150th anniversary season.
As a Scottish brand built on community, partnering with clubs and organisations within the region is important to us. It allows us to give back to the local communities in which we operate, and to connect with our customers on what matters to them, whether that be the latest football result or the best way to shop for their new car.
From football to basketball, we’re invested in our local teams and are proud to support them as they represent our region.
We are delighted to partner with two of Scotland's oldest and most successful football clubs, Heart of Midlothian FC, and Hibernian FC. Just like some of our many customers, we are passionate about football and love to see our local teams performing at their best.
We partner with long-time Scottish Premiership champions Hearts FC, a historic football club with roots going back as far as 1874.
With a string of successes including four Scottish Championship titles, eight Scottish Cups, and four Scottish League Cup wins, we are proud to support the club while helping them to reach out to the local community with the Foundation of Hearts Supporters Trust.
We also partner with Hibernian FC, a club founded by Edinburgh's Irish community who were first crowned national champions back in 1903.
Working alongside the club, the partnership allows us to support the Hibs FC Community Foundation, which aims to make football accessible to all while improving local health and wellbeing.
We also extend our support to the basketball world, partnering with one of Scotland's most successful basketball teams - the newly reformed Caledonia Gladiators.
Previously known as Glasgow Rocks and Edinburgh Rocks, Caledonia Gladiators are a highly successful basketball club competing in the top tier of the British Basketball League (BBL).
We're excited to support the Gladiators as they shoot for success in what is another competitive arena, while also helping to inspire young Gladiators and boost participation in the sport.
