Hibs Slip Up At St Johnstone

Hibernian have slipped to sixth in the Scottish Premiership after slipping to a disappointing defeat against St Johnstone.

Hibs had won four out of five in the league to move into the top four but the Macklin Motors-supported side would endure a frustrating trip to McDiarmid Park.

The warning signs were there in the first half when Max Kucheriavyi had a goal chalked off following a VAR check and David Marshall was forced into a number of saves.

The home side scored the opening when a poor clearance from Dylan Levitt was collected by Graham Carey, who promptly fired a drive from distance into the back of the net from distance.

Hibs would be unable to find a way back into the game and failed to get a shot on target as they slipped to defeat, and have now dropped down to sixth in the table heading into the festive fixtures.
