Hyundai reveals details of all-new Tucson SUV

Hyundai Motor UK has officially announced the specification for its all-new Tuscon compact SUV, which is set to go on sale in the UK from September 2015.

The Tucson will be available in five, well-equipped, trim levels: S, SE, SE Nav, Premium and Premium SE. The entre-level S trim comes with a DAB digital radio with MP3 compatibility, Bluetooth connectivity, 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning as well as headlights with disk sensor.

At the other end of the spectrum is the range-topping Premium SE model. For a little money, buyers will receive a heated steering wheel, keyless smart entry, a panoramic sunroof and Smart Parking Assist System.

The Tucson's bold and powerful design enhances its road presence, making it a very desirable car to own; no one will argue against it being one of the best-looking SUV's currently on the market.

Tony Whitehorn, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor UK, said: "The SUV market is of huge importance to Hyundai, with over 130,000 SUVs sold since we first launched Santa Fe in 2001.

"The outgoing model, ix35, is our second best-seller in the UK so far this year which just proves how critical this sector is for our brand - Tucson will look to develop this success, thanks to its striking design and the enhanced level of technology and equipment it offers our customers."
