Ford release episode 5 of behind the scenes Focus RS documentary, entitled Arctic Extremes
Whilst developing the latest of its RS badged models, Ford created an eight episode, behind-the-scenes documentary, which saw the tough Focus pitted against the rigours of environments as diverse as the Arizona desert and the Artic circle.
The 'warts and all' expose is titled "Rebirth of an icon" and covers every stage of the vehicle's evolution, proving that this hot hatch is as tough as the American carmaker's SUVs.
The fifth episode of the eight part series is now available on YouTube, and shows the team taking the car though its paces in 'winter testing' on the icy lakes of Sweden. The engineering team is faced with the challenge of perfecting the power output.
